    Warning!!!
Your money may be funding terrorists

Diet scams could be part of an international terrorist organization. If your credit card has been billed for products like Algoxyll, Plant Macerat, or Befosan, there's a good chance that your credit card statement was billed to Geneva Bioscience Ltd. Isle Of Man Gb. Just look at your credit card, and if you notice this company, or any other foreign transactions that you can't explain, please let us know.

-- Algoxyll and their associated companies are now taking aim at older women and men. They are placing 2 page ads in Quilt Magazine, weaving magazines, and more. So, if you see any of these scams in your magazine, please let us know.

    Bio-Mince

       Another Valassis Advertising Scam

Valassis of Canada must have decided that they needed the money, so they accepted a scandalously bad advertisement for a pill named Bio-Mince.

Something is Missing Alongside the Truth

    • no toll-free number
    • no regular phone number
    • no ingredients
    • no doctor's name
    • no published studies
    • no company named
    • no FDA disclaimer
    • no Health Canada disclaimer

If anyone purchases this product and would like to be part of one of our DietFraud.com class action lawsuits, just let us know. The Advertising Standards Council will not move on this. Health Canada will sit on it for a few years, and all we will be told is that consumers have to be very wary about claims for diet products. Well lah-dee-dah, we don't even know what the hell this crap is, do we? The claims are too bizarre to even want to repeat here.

    Complaints go Back Years

Authorities in the U.S. have known about this scam for years. They have operated in Champlain, N.Y. for years and it would seem that they are part of an international gang of diet fraud artists that continue to ply their trade without any government intervention.

    Valassis Communications

"In 1995, we extended our North American coverage with the acquisition of Valassis of Canada, which offers a broad array of promotional products and services, including:

    • Shop & Save FSI - a cooperative coupon booklet, distributed via Saturday newspapers to 5 million Canadian households.
    • Shop & Save Plus - a four-color insert, targeted by newspaper, delivered within the Shop & Save FSI.
    • ADHOME - a direct-to-household marketing program using a highly effective consumer behavioral database.
Valassis of Canada is the first company in the Canadian marketplace to offer a full-range of household-based promotions. Rely on our expertise to develop the most cost-effective and targeted programs based on your marketing objectives. Think of Valassis of Canada as your household marketing specialist."

    Bad Apples

Valassis makes money whether the products are fraudulent or not

Valassis was at the centre of another classic Canadian base scam, and one that we are experts in at Dietfraud.com.

    More Diet Patch Scams
In 1997 Valassis helped to spread the word about Quebec based Patrice Runner who marketed the fraudulent Svelt Patches, and it was done in their direct advertising inserts known as FSI.

3539 St. Charles Blvd. - What is it?

Of course we don't need to guess very hard. It's another Mail Boxes Etc. location. You might want to call them to complain, and make sure you have a paper and pencil ready to record their every word when they tell you that they can't tell you who really operates the Box #521. Tell them that you are going to call the police because you have been ripped off, and see what they say.

Remember the government of Canada is protecting these and other scam artists from prosecution. Unless these people threaten the government itself, they won't take action, and they won't even investigate them. The Federal government allows Mail Boxes Etc., and others like them to profit at our expense.

Health Canada is so overloaded with complaints about scam artists, they will likely launch an investigation on about 1 out of 10 companies.

The Advertising Standards Council ignores any product that has anything to do with weight loss or vitamins. We can't get them to take action.
